Author: Joshua W. Review of: Spokes & Strings I haven’t purchased one of the home grown bikes that they offer at the shop but I have availed myself of their repair services a number of times. The last time I stopped in I had my handlbars replaced which was done within an hour and for a very reasonable price ($10-15 labor) so I’ve been generally pleased with the service and attitude of the shop. As I mentioned, the shop specializes in their own home-brew bicycles so the only name brand they sell is Redline and their 9-2-5 model. Otherwise, they offer a fairly nice selection of bikes which can be built to your specifications for well under $1000. Check them out at nycbikes.com
